A new feature is coming to YouTube. With this, parents will be able to decide what their children will watch on YouTube from now on. In other words, the parents can look at what the child is watching by searching YouTube, whether it is good or bad for him at all. This feature will be added to the main YouTube app. This feature is not available in the 'Kids version' of YouTube for kids. Initially, this feature will be used for beta testers. The service will be available to more users in a few months.

 

According to a block from YouTube, this feature will allow kids to watch YouTube through a supervised version of their Google account. Content settings will be specially fixed in this supervised version. A limited number of features will be offered as well. This special feature of YouTube needs to be updated by correcting the error based on the feedback that will come after the initial testing.

 

This special feature has been introduced for those who are older than the YouTube Kids category. The videos that can be seen here are suitable for those over 9 years of age. Video blogs, tutorials, gaming videos, music clips, news, educational content and much more can be seen with this feature. There will also be three options, Explore, Explore More and Most of YouTube. For those over the age of 13, these three options will work. In the case of the third option, almost all the videos on YouTube can be seen. Only videos that have a certain age restriction will not be viewed. That means sensitive issue based content will not be seen.

 

This security measure has been taken mainly for the safety of the small viewers of YouTube. Many times children click on many advertisements without realizing it. Or watch a video that can affect their child's mind. YouTube is going to bring this new feature for parents to keep their children away from these.
